Tennis Club Heating Conversion

The Darwen Tennis Club came to us recently for advice on heating their main building of the tennis club. They had decided that they were done with the old fashioned storage radiators which were doing nothing to heat the area. Not only were they paying an arm and a leg for their heating bills, but it wasn’t even heating them efficiently!

We asked the owners what areas of the building they wanted to heat and what their preferred panels were. With the building being so naturally cold they opted to go for our bar heater range, which is a much more compact form of infrared heating but still at a good price. They also wanted some mirror panels in the bathroom area for looks and a few other white panels dotted about just to ensure the areas were up to a good, decent and comfortable temperature.

Now the Darwen tennis club have much lower heating bills and a very comfy form of heat!

Old storage radiators circulate the air and the dust in it making it a stuffy type of heat. With infrared, it isn’t convection heating, meaning it heats you and not the air. Now everyone is nice and toasty as well as being relaxed!
