Nottingham Refurbishment on Five Flats

This case study revolves around one of our most luxurious property refurbishments that we’ve supplied panels to.

This development is in central Nottingham, where we were approached by a design company looking for a clean, discreet heating solution for a total of five 2-3 bed apartments.

It was a period property which meant that moving or extending existing pipework was going to be disruptive and very costly. The thought of big bulky radiators was not something the developers wanted in their development.

After working out the property’s requirements with the design company and developers, the client opted for our ‘Platinum Range’ of white panels ceiling mounted with the use of our ceiling fixing kits. In every bathroom an infrared mirror panel was mounted above the sink.

As infrared heating systems work most economically with controllers, the ‘Black Onyx’ programmable thermostat was chosen in each room/area to be able to micro-manage each room. The black glass touchscreen complimented the socket fittings and light switches.

Other nice touches in this renovation included floors that were fitted with Egger hardwood flooring and pieces from Villeroy and Boch and Grohe to enhance the property.

Once completed, the developers were so happy with the work, that they invited us back to see the property with the Platinum panels up and working well.

The end result was clean lines throughout the property, a lovely ambient heat coming down in each room, with all the controllers working succinctly on the pre-programmed controls.

Furniture including tables, chairs and beds were laid out without any need to work around the existing radiators as you can see in the ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures.
