Modern 2 Bed Flat in Edinburgh
Many of Warm4less’ clients are from Scotland. Of course, the climate has a lot to do with that!
This property is a 2 bedroom flat in a conversion of an older property. Windows were single glazed and general insulation not the best.
The occupant extracted maximum value from his Warm4less 600 x 600 white panels, by putting thought into positioning and using a thermostat timer controller. Fitting to ceilings is a great way to place infrared heating, but it\’s all too easy not to give attention to exactly where. Over key locations such as the dining table, the sofa or beds can make a difference in cost of comfort.
The property was divided into 2 zones: living room and hall as one. And the 2 bedrooms the other. This makes sense as the temperature required for night living ( bedrooms) is usually less than in day (living areas). The occupant states that he has the living area at 20 degrees and the bedrooms at 19 degrees and finds this adequate.
Just 6 small panels to heat about 60 sqm. About 2kw, with a maximum of 2.7 kW if he adds infrared heating to the kitchen and bathroom. That’s very modest cost by any standards. Plus zero maintenance and long product life.
