This customer came across our website while browsing online for far infrared heating panels. He had a few queries so started an online chat with one of our friendly agents. Initially, the customer had been looking at our WIFI-enabled platinum range of heater panels online because they can be controlled in more than one way. The first of these being the physical remote that comes with the heater which allows for full programming of the heater from a short range. The second method of controlling a  platinum range heater is connecting to the SmartLife app via WIFI and this offers a simple display that allows you to control and program your heater remotely. Both the app and the remote can be connected to various heaters simultaneously allowing for smoother control over your heating. In addition, the platinum range has the unique feature of both wall mounting options and ceiling mounting options.

Our staff helped answer all the customer’s questions regarding the differences between our product ranges and the advantages of using each range until the conversation moved towards the specifics of his project of heating a 3-bed bungalow.

We then asked the customer to send over floor plans and room dimensions for the bungalow to create a bespoke quotation for the property. He sent these over in the form of an email alongside his preferred range of heater and additional information, including the window quality throughout the property.

More emails were sent back and forth to ensure there was a mutual understanding of what the customer was looking for, so we could create a recommendation that was to his preference. A quotation was sent to the customer with a clarifying email to recap what had been recommended, how to utilise the control systems, and other smaller details to ensure he was completely comfortable to use all features the heaters provide.

After a couple small changes to the recommendation, such as changing a wall panel to be a bespoke print panel, the customer paid a 20% holding deposit to keep his order on standby in our holding facility, since he didn’t need the order until an electrician was available. Upon receiving the notification stating that he was ready for the order to be delivered, we arranged for it to be delivered the following week, on his desired date.

Following the arrival of his order, the customer had various technical queries about the heaters themselves, which our technical team were able to answer in prompt time. With this, the customer had no more questions, and the heaters were installed and are now up and running with great, positive feedback from the customer!
