Conservatory Showroom Heating

Heating large open areas like storage units, conservatories and shops can be really difficult. Especially with little insulation, bad windows and a lot of glass. This conservatory company came to us in need for heating that would keep their showroom warm and also to offer as part of their luxury conservatory ranges.

When they first got in touch they had a number of old 3KW suspended ceiling heaters that were not heating the show room and yet were very costly to run. We replaced them with a few of our 2.4KW bar heaters and the running costs really improved.

Once we kitted out the room, one of our team members went to the showroom to see how they were getting on. The showroom was lovely and warm and we were able to run a few tests on how well it actually worked.

It’s good enough saying that the heaters work, but what more proof is there than actual images of a heat gun on different surfaces.

Infrared is different to other forms of heating. It heats furniture and objects instead of the air around them. When the air gets hot, it rises up and it is lost. Infrared heat gets absorbed by objects and then the objects emit those rays making it warm. Below are a few pictures showing the temperature of various materials in the showroom being heated by infrared heat.
